Dailey-Provost moved to pass SB0261S01 out favorably. 3rd Sub. S.B. 170 Vitamin K Amendments(Plumb, J.) Sen. Jen Plumb had handouts distributed and presented the bill. SB170Sub3 Vitamin K Amendments Hannah Sherfinski, triple board resident physician at the University of Utah and Primary Children's Hospital, Utah American Academy of Pediatrics, spoke in favor of the bill. Melissa Andersen, Healthy Roots Foundation, spoke in opposition to the bill. Stacy Bank, Executive Medical Director, Department of Health and Human Services, spoke to the bill. Jeff Robison, pediatrician, spoke in favor of the bill. Vice Chair Monson assumed the chair. Taylor Boyd, medical student, spoke in favor of the bill. Rep. Gricius moved to amend SB0170S04 with Amendment #1. Rep. Ward moved to pass SB0170S04 out favorably. S.B. 244 Cardiac Emergency Response Plans in Schools(Stevenson, J.) Sen. Jerry Stevenson, presented the bill with the assistance of Hannah Randall, Government Relations Director, American Heart Association.
