Recording 1 Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 4:11 PM. Rep. Jack moved to approve the minutes from the February 27, 2026 meeting. S.C.R. 1 Concurrent Resolution Regarding Nuclear Energy(Owens, D.R.) Sen. Derrin Owens with assistance from Tim Davis, Executive Director, Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), presented the bill. Joan Entwistle, resident, spoke in opposition to the bill. Rep. Jack moved to pass SCR001 out favorably. S.B. 67 Law Enforcement Quota Amendments(Weiler, T.) Sen. Todd Weiler presented the bill. Rep. Jack moved to pass SB0067 out favorably. Rep. Jack thanked the committee for all the hard work and moved to adjourn. Chair Peterson adjourned the meeting at 4:29 PM.
