Brammer moved to close the meeting to discuss the character and qualifications of the appointees. Recording 2 Sen. Brammer moved to reopen the meeting. Appointment of Lance L. Talakai to the Utah Third District Juvenile Court Mr. Talakai gave a personal statement and answered questions from the committee. Sen. Kwan moved to favorably recommend to the full Senate, the appointment of Lance L. Talakai as a judge to the Utah Third District Juvenile Court. Discussion to the motion. Sen. Kwan's motion to favorably recommend to the full Senate, the appointment of Lance L.Talakai as a judge to the Utah Third District Juvenile Court Appointment of Matthew L. Bell to the Utah Supreme Court Judge Bell gave a personal statement and answered questions from the committee. Appointment of Michael Menssen to the Utah Supreme Court Mr. Menssen gave a personal statement and answered questions from the committee. Sen. Cullimore moved to adjourn. Acting Chair McCay adjourned the meeting at 3:57 p.m.
