Recording 1 Chair Harper called the meeting to order at 11:04 a.m. Committee Business Adam Sweet provided an overview of the Utah Housing Corporation Board of Trustees. Review of Gubernatorial Nominations for the Utah Housing Corporation Board of Trustees The governor has nominated Harris Simmons, Natalie Gochnour, Clark Ivory, Wayne Niederhauser, Daniel Harris Simmons, CEO, Zions Bancorporation, provided a statement on his background and qualifications for his appointment to the Utah Housing Corporation Board of Trustees. Sen. Grover moved to favorably recommend Harris Simmons to the full Senate as a member of the Utah Housing Corporation Board of Trustees. Clark Ivory, CEO, Ivory Homes, provided a statement on his background and qualifications for his appointment to the Utah Housing Corporation Board of Trustees. Sen. Grover moved to favorably recommend Clark Ivory to the full Senate as a member of the Utah Housing Corporation Board of Trustees. Wayne Niederhauser, former State Homeless Coordinator, provided a statement on his background and qualifications for his appointment to the Utah Housing Corporation Board of Trustees. Sen. Kwan moved to recommend Wayne Niederhauser to the full Senate as a member of the Utah Housing Corporation Board of Trustees. Sen. Grover moved to favorably recommend Natalie Gochnour, Associate Dean, David Eccles School of Business, Daniel Lofgren, CEO, Cowboy Partners, and Dannielle Larkin, member, St. George City Council, to the full Senate as members of the Utah Housing Corporation Board of Trustees. Other Items/Adjourn Sen. Plumb moved to approve the minutes of the May 5, 2025, meeting. Sen. Grover moved to adjourn. Chair Harper adjourned the meeting at 11:21 a.m.
