Recording 1 Committee Business Chair Millner called the meeting to order at 11:01 AM. Sen. Owens moved to approve the minutes from the May 5, 2026 meeting. Appointment of Nate Walkingshaw to the Board of Economic Opportunity Nate Walkingshaw introduced himself, discussed his background and qualifications, and responded to questions from the committee. Sen. Owens moved to favorably recommend to the full Senate the appointment of Nate Walkingshaw as a member of the Board of Economic Opportunity Appointment of Curtis Wells to the Permanent Community Impact Fund Board Curtis Wells introduced himself, discussed his background and qualifications, and responded to questions from the committee. Sen. Owens moved to favorably recommend to the full Senate the reappointment of Curtis Wells as the Chair of the Permanent Community Impact Fund Board Sen. Stevenson moved to adjourn. Chair Millner adjourned the meeting at 11:29 a.m.
